Paramount Financial recently helped provide a warm welcome to a refugee family through the Welcome to America Project (WTAP). WTAP is a nonprofit organization that helps bridge the transition to America for refugee families. The families are provided with new opportunities by being given basic necessities, education, including learning English, and are offered countless resources to become fully acclimated in America. We were able to participate by donating household furnishings, transporting these goods and helping to establish a warm and friendly atmosphere in these new homes. The opportunity was quite rewarding for our team to see the family become so filled with joy and excitement as we brought in couches, chairs, tables, and much more. The best part of all was bridging the cultural gaps and identifying that these families had so much in common with ours.  We all share a love and respect for this great country and simply want to provide the best we can for our families. WTAP has been operating for over 15 years and we were grateful to have the opportunity to serve our local community.
