This State Privacy Addendum explains how and why Paramount collects, uses, and shares the information through our websites and mobile applications, including Paramoutfinancial.com (our “Sites”), through your use of our services, as well as from your interactions directly with us (collectively, our “Services”). For more information about our privacy practices generally, please view our Privacy Policy.
This State Privacy Addendum also incorporates the protections afforded by various states within the U.S., including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Virginia, and contains information required by the laws of these respective states (collectively, “U.S. State Data Protection Laws”), as amended or replaced from time to time, along with any implementing regulations.
This policy includes the information and disclosures we are required to provide to you under U.S. State Data Protection Laws as residents of the above-mentioned states (“Applicable Residents”), including your rights to (1) know whether we sell or share your Personal Information and opt-out of a sale or sharing of your Personal Information with a third party, (2) to receive an overview of the Personal Information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with, (3) limit the use and sharing of your sensitive Personal Information, (4) access your Personal Information and get a copy of it, (5) correct inaccurate Personal Information, (6) delete your Personal Information, and/or (7) personally, or through an authorized agent to contact us if you have a question at privacy@paramountfinancial.com. You should read it carefully. The terms “you,” “your” or “user” means the Applicable Resident users of the Site and Services as addressed in this State Privacy Addendum.
Paramount applies certain privacy controls to all U.S. customers. For example, all customers can control their privacy settings in their Account Settings as well as other features as described in our Privacy Policy. This notice makes sure we cover state-specific requirements. In the event of any conflict between the terms of this notice and the Privacy Policy concerning residents of the states identified in the title of this State Privacy Addendum, the terms of this notice prevail.

Paramount Financial Services, LLC (“Paramount,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides financial services to businesses and consumers throughout the United States. At Paramount, your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it.
“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular Applicable Resident or household.

This State Privacy Addendum applies to all Personal Information of Consumers that we collect both online and offline, including through Consumers’ (a) visits to our www.paramountfinancial.com website (“Website”) or any mobile application (“Mobile App”), and (b) use of our services and products that references this State Privacy Addendum (collectively, the “Services”).

Paramount does not share, sell, or otherwise disclose your Personal Data for purposes other than those outlined in this CA Notice. We disclose your Personal Data to a few third parties, including: Paramount’s affiliated partners, Paramount’s parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, third-party service providers, subcontractors, and business associates whom we are engaged with in order to provide services to you and to support our business, to the extent of a merger or acquisition, to the new owner(s) of Paramount or any company purchased by, or merged with Paramount, those agencies to which we are required to disclose by law or to comply with legal obligations, companies hired or used to enforce our legal rights, to parties with whom you have provided your express consent. We may also share information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request, to enforce our Terms of Use or the Mobile App’s End User License Agreement, for billing and collection purposes, and if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of you, your licensed provider and/or her/his staff, Paramount Financial Services LLC, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
As an Applicable Resident, when we use the term “Personal Information” in this State Privacy Addendum, we are referring to any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with you, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you, and as otherwise defined in the U.S. State Data Protection Laws. Please note, the U.S. State Data Protection Laws do not consider publicly available information, deidentified, or aggregate Consumer information as “Personal Information.”
e) Right to Limit
You may change your settings and select your privacy preferences as described in this State Privacy Addendum, or contact Paramount directly.
Paramount will respond to Consumers’ requests in accordance with applicable law if it can verify the identity of the individual submitting the request. Applicable Residents can direct these requests or inquiries to us by emailing us at Privacy@paramountfinancial.com or if you have created a Mobile App account, by logging into your Mobile App (where changes can similarly be made through your Account Settings). If you email us, please describe your request (e.g., right to know or right to delete) with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
You can have an authorized agent submit a CCPA privacy request to us on your behalf by (a) providing us with a written authorization signed by you that designates the agent as your authorized agent for purposes of a CCPA request; (b) verifying your identity directly with us; and (c) directly confirming with us that the agent is authorized to submit the request.
To prevent anyone other than you, or your authorized agent, from exercising the right to know or the right to delete with respect to your personal information, we follow procedures to verify your, or your agent’s, identity. This process seeks to confirm that the person making a request is the person about whom we have collected personal information or that person’s authorized agent. The verification process involves matching data points that you provide with your request against information about you we already have in our records and that we have determined to be reliable for purposes of verifying your identity. We will use information you provide in your completed request to verify your identity, and we may request additional information if necessary to complete the verification process. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
All Paramount customers, including Consumers have the right not to be subject to discriminatory treatment by Paramount for exercising their privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act or other US State Data Protection Laws, and Paramount will not discriminate on that basis. However, where permitted under state law, Paramount may charge an Consumer a different price or rate or provide a different level or quality of goods or services if the difference is reasonably related to the value provided to the Consumer by the Consumer’s Personal Information. Under Certain US State Data Protection Laws, Consumers can request information from us whether we have disclosed Personal Information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. As described herein, we will not sell your Personal Information to, or share it with, third-party companies for their direct marketing purposes without your consent. Consumers desiring to request further information about our compliance with these laws or who have questions or concerns about our privacy practices and policies are welcome to contact us using the contact information below.
Like many websites, Paramount uses cookies (including other tracking technologies) for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Cookies require your Web-Behavior Information to work.
Under the CCPA, this use of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We let advertising providers collect identifiers (IP addresses, cookie IDs, and mobile IDs), activity data (browsing, clicks, app usage), device data, and geolocation data through our sites and apps when you use our online service. In the past 12 months, these categories of personal information may have been “sold” or “shared” as defined under CCPA. We may provide special offers and benefits to certain customers. For example, a customer may be invited to get a discount code or special promotion. Such offers and benefits are voluntary and customers can choose not to accept the promotion. If a customer accepts a promotion, they can choose to close their account at any time via Account Settings or by contacting us at privacy@paramountfinancial.com. We collect the same Personal Information from a customer with promotion as those who do not receive promotions. Both customers’ Personal Information will be handled as detailed in this Policy.
While we do not assign a monetary value to the personal information we collect from a customer with a promotion, we do receive value in the form of customer loyalty, and increased engagement. The value of the personal information that we collect is reasonably related to the expenses related to our offering to you. This value will vary by customer depending on their engagement on the Paramount Services, and many other factors.
If we change this State Privacy Addendum, we will post those changes on this page and update the State Privacy Addendum modification date above. If we materially change this State Privacy Addendum in a way that affects how we use or disclose your personal data, we will provide a prominent notice of such changes and the effective date of the changes before making them.

This online State Privacy Addendum does not create rights enforceable by third parties.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits Users who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests by California resident Users may be made only once a year and are free of charge. Under Section 1798.83, Paramount currently does not share any Personal Information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
